how to set a exe file created in VB.net to run automatically after specified time?
i have created a project in vb.net that i need to run it every 1 hours so
can any1 give examples for the same?

The easiest and most flexible way is to use the Windows Task Scheduler to execute the program for you. If you can do that then you don't need to write anymore code and you can easily change the schedule. I am not sure how to get to the Task Scheduler; you can search for Task Scheduler using Help in your system (from the Start Menu not the internet). One way to get to the Task Scheduler is to execute: mmc.exe taskschd.msc If it helps you can add tasks to the Task Scheduler from your program or from some other program; do you need to do that?

Hi You can do it in two way 1. Using windows service This method can be used when you want to run an application as soon as the system starts up and it will run continuously.Create a windows service and inside that create a timer object and set the interval. In Elapsed time interval write your logic. 2. Simple application and inside that create a timer and write you business logic inside the Elapsed time interval method. Regards Raaj
