this code changes the color of all textboxes in the parent container (e.g. form, groupcontrol, ...). However, if the textboxes are nested in some container, you need to iterate it as well. foreach ( var control in this .Controls) { var box = control as TextBox ; if (box != null ) box.BackColor = Color .Red; }
