How to set permissions for a file/folder using Power Shell

Question

I have a folder which is read only and i want to change its permissions to read/write using power shell scripting. Any help here?

Thanks Nanddeep I already tried that code given in link but still it doesnt change permission of a folder and no error though. Any other way?
