how to set previous data in gridview while adding new row

how to set previous data of file upload control in gridview while adding new row in asp.net...if i am adding new row  in gridview then upload file is not getting set..each column of gridview has previous data except that column which has file upload control..

FileUpload control does not work after postback.

use in page_load if(!IsPostback) { } if it doesn't work then put your gridview in a updatepanel it is not possible to keep the fileupload data after postback so put the greedview in a updatepanel mark as answer if worked
