you can use modal pop up http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadFile/618722/how-to-create-modalpopup-control-in-Asp-Net-ajax/ or create normal new page and call it using Javascript's window.open(). You can specify width and height for it. To design that page use two html table (ref belwo image)

Hii Anjali.. i think you have used GridView to Display the Record. and now you want to History of Record by clicking on it... write your code ' GridView_ItemCommand ' Event.. GridView_ItemCommand And Use Modal Popup to display the history of a record...
