how to show total in footer

Hi folks I want to show total of gridview column .saw some link but everyone bind data from datasource but i want to show data from command.then how i calculate total please share some link how i achive my goal.

You can keep the sum in EmptyDataTemplate as well which will look like footer only. your calculated sum can be populated on lblSum label now.
