how to solve input string was not in a correct format???

Question

I have RecruitmentID dropdown in my pageIf I select any Id and click on modify then it should be redirect to Update page.... I wrote the code it is working very fine in local but in server if I click on modify it showing error like: input string was not in a correct format..I'm not able to solve this error can any one help how to solve diz????

priya first of all u chek RecruitmentID is an int32 or not and as per there database.

I tried with ur sol also..but no use getting sme error..If I chnge CTC=convert.ToInt32(32)thn while editing I wil get the CTC like 32 ..tht is the use of above statement

put hard code value every where. after this checking i know database error or front end error. This is not a solution. Convert.ToInt32( 32) + 1; like above type every where.

am also confused. Change the int.parse to Convert.Int32. Because Int.parse can't capable Null to Zero. May be database return the null value. Convert.ToInt32( ctcSplit[0]) + 1; change every one.

see I'm nt taking abt database..I hve same database for both..First we wil develop the app in Visual studio..Like tht only I wrote nd I checked also but I'm not getting any error but we have to deploy the project in Remote desktop connection(Server) there only I'm getting error ..I knw bz of my code error but I'm not able to rectify ...After deployed the project we can see only the UI design ...cant see the fuctionalities(.cs code)
