How to sort a record!

Hi all! I have a problem in my project.That is : I want to sort by score of a football teams (20 team is a record)!thx for you help!

You can also do sorting withing the in-memory structure of data. if you have data in DataTable inside Dataset. you can use dataset.tables[0]dataview.sort -------------------- DataView dv = dsDataset.Tables[0].DefaultView ; dv.Sort = strSortCol +   + strSortDir ; this.dgdReport.DataSource = dv; this.dgdReport.DataBind(); --------------------

You can do this several ways. One is to add ORDER BY into your sequel command. Unfortunately without knowing your database structure (table names columns etc.) I can't give you an exact answer but I can take a pretty educated guess select Team from FootballTable order by Score
