how to spllititng array with for loop ?

hello i have this array ex : int a [] = {21453769810}; 1- sorrting array by loop i know this step 2- i didn't no this result : 1 2 3 4 5 10 9 8 7 6 how i will do it ??

You can't do the second part until you've done the first part. So to combine the two I'd do: int[] a = {8 0 5 4 7 44 33 77 45}; int temp = 0; for (int i = 0; i { for (int j = 0; j { if (a[j] > a[j + 1]) { temp = a[j + 1]; a[j + 1] = a[j]; a[j] = temp; } } } for(int i = a.Length/2 j = a.Length - 1; i { temp = a[j]; a[j] = a[i]; a[i] = temp; } for (int i = 0; i { textBox1.AppendText(a[i].ToString() +  ); }

Here's the code to deal with the second situation where we split the unsorted array into two and sort the first half ascending and the second half descending: int[] a = {3 1 4 10 5 7 2 8 9 6}; int temp = 0; int middle = a.Length/2; for (int i = 0; i { for (int j = 0; j { if ( (j a[j + 1]) || (j >= middle && a[j] { temp = a[j + 1]; a[j + 1] = a[j]; a[j] = temp; } } } for (int i = 0; i { textBox1.AppendText(a[i].ToString() +  ); } The output should be: 1 3 4 5 10 9 8 7 6 2

Sorry but I don't see how it's possible to do this using one loop because until you've sorted it you don't know what the second half contains. It should be possible to sort the first half of the (unsorted) array in ascending order and the second half in descending order within a single loop but that's not the same thing. For example if you had this to start with: int[] a = {3 1 4 10 5 7 2 8 9 6}; you'd end up with: 1 3 4 5 10 9 8 7 6 2 rather than 1 2 3 4 5 10 9 8 7 6 Perhaps that's what you remembered seeing before?

It only works if you've sorted the array first and you said you'd done that step already.

Once you've sorted the array you can reverse the second half of it using a for loop as follows: for(int i = a.Length/2 j = a.Length - 1; i { int temp = a[j]; a[j] = a[i]; a[i] = temp; }
