How to to append text in update query ?

hi Faisal I have one Question here Is your field nullable? If NO then go with Santosh 's solution Other wise try some modification of above query update table_user set useraddress=isnull(useraddress'')+'Some of your text' where len(isnull(useraddress'')) Because len(null) is always return null so condition is not fulfill. hope this will help you.
