Hii For this you do the following can steps 1) Set the UpdateMode property of UpdatePanel to Conditional. 2) Add the Trigger Template in UpdatePanel 3) Within the asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger  set ControlId property as 'buttonid' and Event property is 'click' That's it..I hope this will solve your issue.
