how to use DSN to connect database in C#?

Hi.... Could you plaese tell me how do you connect database using DSN through client / server? I'm new to programming and if there are mistakes in this please forgive me......

System DSN uses ODBC which is a wrapper for OLE DB means a lot of unnecessary overhead. The .Net System.Data.SqlClient classes talk directly to the SQL Server without having to use OLE DB OR ODBC.
