How to use Progress Bar in c# ?

Question

Sir I want to use progress bar when data is inserting inside database or during update of records. so during this situations I want to show progress bar.So please help me by giving example.

ProgressBars are often used in conjunction with a BackgroundWorker so that the 'long-running' operation they're monitoring doesn't cause the rest of the user interface to freeze.
