How I can use progressbar before opening a form.

to use a progressbar here is some code to use: in form_load event type this code Progressbar1.maximum=100 'put maximum value to 100 Progressbar1.minimum= 0 ' put minimum value to 0 'in this case you have now max and min value so wats next... if you want to make it manually load then put this code in buttonAddProg if Progressbar1.value >=100 then msgbox"Cant Add progress" else Progressbar1.value +=5 'increase value by 5 everytime it clicks end if To decrese the progress make a code same to upper code then change the + sign to - for any questions please mail me at zinc_iron10@yahoo.com hope it helps

use Progress Bar from windows tools... after that you write a below code inside that Progress bar.. progressBar1.Increment(5); progressBar1.PerformStep(); label1.Text = progressBar1.Value + "%completed";

Hi there, U can use a progress bar to just show the progress of ur application. U can try using a timer along with this. In the form load , enable the Timer Timer1.enabled Timer1.interval=100 Now in the timer1_tick event type these codings If(progressbar1.value=progressbar1.maxval) then timer1.enabled=false form1.show exit sub else progressbar1.value=progressbar1.value+5 endif Hope this works .
