How to use SQL 2005 database in SQL 2008

Question

Hai I having database in SQL 2005 it having tablesviewsstored procedure. How can i use the same database in SQL 2008. pls any solution there........i am doing project in visual studio 2008 (c#.netasp)

i m agree with mayur just create a back up file and restore in sqlserver 2008 .or take mdf file by deattaching ur database and attrach this mdf file with ur sqlserver 2008.

Hi Mayur is right. Actually i misunderstood the question i thought from SQL 2008 to SQL 2005 anyway just try what he said you will get database in 2008

Just restore that database(.bak file) after taking back up of it it will work fine to know how to restore database start new thread

One of the solution is to generate scripts With the help of this you would be able to the schema with data in sql 2008.
