How to validate optional email id field in mvc

How to validate optional email id fields in mvc using data annotation. Please explain with example.

Hi Arif, You need to use Regular expresson to validate Email address and you need to remove [required] attribute as this field is optional. Dear Mam I have a textbox which enter the email Id and works correctly. This textbox leaves empty my validation works correctly. I want to my textbox is empty validation do not works.When I enter the value in this textbox then validate properly. You can either use front end validation using JQuery or you can use MVC built-in front end validation via Data Annotations. Usually both are used to ensure security at both front end and backend.
