Basically with the help of two combobox events (enter & leave) & one property (DroppedDown) you can achieve this. private void comboBox1_Enter(object sender EventArgs e) { comboBox1.DroppedDown = true; } private void comboBox1_Leave(object sender EventArgs e) { comboBox1.DroppedDown = false; }
