How to write a storedprocedure to start date of the year to till date.

hello im writing a stored procedure the will calculate the sales of the year from the startdate(1st jan 2008 to tilldate) . can u assist to write a procedure? Thanks

To limited the result to a date range in the WHERE clause use something like this: dbo.SomeTable.TheDate between @FromDate and @ToDate
