Hi chenna You can doing this stuff using After Insert Trigger on your table. Ex : 1) First Create table CREATE TABLE dbo.Products ( ID INT IDENTITY(1 1) NOT NULL  UserCode VARCHAR(20)  ComputedValue VARCHAR(50) ) -------------------------------------------------------------- 2) Then apply this trigger on Product table(Execute below query) CREATE TRIGGER [dbo].[computedvalue_after_insert] ON [dbo].[Products] AFTER INSERT AS BEGIN SET NOCOUNT ON; DECLARE @lastInsertedid INT SET @lastInsertedid = ( SELECT IDENT_CURRENT('Products') ) UPDATE Products SET ComputedValue = UserCode + CONVERT(VARCHAR(50) @lastInsertedid) WHERE ID = @lastInsertedid END; --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3) Last Insert and select Statement INSERT INTO dbo.Products ( UserCode ComputedValue ) VALUES ( 'UserCode''') SELECT * FROM [Products] Your output is like below.
