At the bottom of the above link Exercise 2 is given to try. I use Notepad to try this program but image is not appearing instead empty box is appearing. Please let me know the reason.

If you're using notepad then you'll need to use the full url of the image: Change the size of this image: http://www.w3schools.com/html/w3schools.jpg width=104 height=142> Tip: Set the width.
