Question

Can someone explain what an unvisited link means. Explain it in detail.

Can someone explain what an active link means. Explain it in detail.

I completed understand the hover property.

a:link - a normal, unvisited link
a:visited - a link the user has visited
a:hover - a link when the user mouses over it
a:active - a link the moment it is clicked

a:link - The :link selector is used to select unvisited links. The :link selector does not style links you have already visited. a:visited - The :visited selector is used to select visited links. a:hover - The :hover selector is used to select elements when you mouse over them. The :hover selector can be used on all elements not only on links. like you can this on image div td etc a:active - The :active selector is used to select and style the active link. A link becomes active when you click on it.

a:link-a normal link means you didn't click on that link and its color will be blue. a:visited- its the link you clicked previously and its color will be pink a:Active- the moment you clicked on the link and its color will be red
