I am having trouble remembering what I did to find out if the cursor.position is within a certain area (region) on a form. Anybody know what to do in this case?

It depends when you want to make the test. I'd have thought that it would most likely be in the MouseDown MouseMove or MouseHover events of the Form but it doesn't necessarily have to be.

If it's a rectangular region you can do: Dim isWithin As Boolean = rect.Contains(Cursor.Position) or if it's a graphics region: Dim isWithin As Boolean = region.IsVisible(Cursor.Position)
