i am trying to use RowNum keyword but SQL is giving error

Hello I am trying to use RowNum keyword in SQL query but it is giving me error when used in simple query where as same RowNum keyword is accepted in SQL sub query. I am sharing my screenshot below. Thanks in advance.

You have created RowNum in context of temp not in table Employee.

Hi Tapan ok I got it thanks for the help. actually I read it on w3schools site when I was reading about TOPLIMITROWNUM Example. so I was trying to implement that.. below Is the snapshot I am sharing.
