I Can't get value from list while Editing in MVC

Hi Siva The Entity model will automattically create the relation ship for tables and we can directly bind the table to list and table to model etc... Hi Siva Kindly check your view The issue may be occur from the following reason 1. You are posting the ID value instead of name from view to controller while clicking the edit button 2. Kindly check passing parameter should be same in view and controller ex: @Html.ActionLink(ActionNameController Namenew { name : Ramesh } controller : public ActionResult Edit(string name ) { } Kindly check this both  if you are facing the issue still  Kindly post your view code

My Kindly Suggestion and Possibilities for this cause 1) may b u dnt have records on that name 2) if input parameter empty then definetly you wont get any names 3) you have to check why input parameter is null 4) this is because In the Edit actionlink the parameter which you are passing might be not correct yes this is cause for null values in list.... I kindly suggest please debugg by assuming some steps like above when you face any issue then defnlty u will find it out and you will get cnfidence :)
