I have a problem while using SQL SERVER 2014 IN windows 10?

I installed SQL SERVER 2014 for windows 10 but it didn't get installed completely, so please guide me that how can I solve it and what is the problem, by the way , may I use SQL SERVER 2012 for visual studio 2013?

Could you explain the failure message ? Because an windows Operating system never restricts the installation of any software. Try to take a picture when it says failing and post it, only then I can't understand whats your problem is? And I also said, if you have visual studio 2013, you cant get SQL Server 2014 supported . install VS 2015 and SQL 2014 If you find my post as useful then accept my reply as answer . :)

Hi, I installed SQL server 2012 and I didn't face any error, and as you said SQL SERVER 2012 AND VISUAL STUDIO 2013 are compatible , didn't you?

thats the good choice. as I said VS15-SQL14/sql12 VS13/sql12 or lesser Also SQL Server 12 install I think you need to install certain plugin to get compatiable with VS13. I think that should be the problem. I once had that. But share your error message, we can figure out

Hi, This process takes so long time, so I don 't want to use SQL SERVER 2014 but I want to use SQL SERVER 2012 instead ,so is it compatible with visual studio 2013?

Hi, I mean that SQL SERVER can't be installed in windows 10 I tried it a few times but it didn't get installed , please suggest some suggestion , I could't use SQL SERVER for my projects.

May be you need to install Visual Studio 2015 and SQL Server 2014 to support it. if you an account in dreapspark.com you could get free licensed version for students. Make sure you get registered, if you don't have one. also please provide an error that you get, to understand about installation failure.
