Frankly I didn't understand what you are trying to achieve but noticed that the value of variable @1Names was null if the following expression: SELECT @RETURN = @Names +'  '+ @1Names; So I modified it as follows: SELECT @RETURN = @Names +'  '+ isnull(@1Names ''); And now code is returning some value. I believe that to achieve something very simple you have done a lot of coding.
