1-First of all create a store procedure in sql server like Create Procedure spAddEmployee @Name nvachar(50) @Gender nvarchar(40) @Email As Begin Insert into tblEmployee(NameGenderEmail) values(@Name@Gender@Email) Select ID = SCOPEIDENTITY() End; After Creating Store procedure Go to Your project and Write same code in MVC ActionResult Create Method and also create connection string in web.configfile which i show an image.Hope this will work for you.
