i want to upload my website on web server,Can anybody tell me what will be my connection string for SqlExpress database?

I have tried connection string as IP:portno & ip\\SQLEXPRESS

but it all giving an error message

hii When i have database on my local PC: Data Source=neha-pc\sqlexpress;DataBase=dbname; user ID=abc; password=abc; When I have database on server: Data Source=173.248.170.250;DataBase=dbname; user ID=abc; password=abc; or you can try with . also. But in case you are unable to find the exact data source you can go with the hosting provider technical support team they ll manage the connection string or allow remote connection to allow. if it helps you mark it as answerelse let me know the next issue.
