I want to use ajaxcombobox selectedchanged event with autopostback false.any help would be appreciated....

Question

I am using ajaxcombobox in a popup form . When i select item from combobox ,three textboxes should be prefill in popup on selecting an item.But problem is that on selecting item its working fine but when i add new item and click on next fields my popup disapprears coz of autopostback true.I am using update panel also..But nothing working ....Please i am trapped into this help me.

PFA only problem is that i adding a new text to my ajaxcombobox and then clicking anywhere inside the popup it disappears.Please have a look

Hi Thanku so much for giving me solution But on selectedindexchange my popup is not disappearing but on typing text on combobox its disappearing. I dont know whether it will work or not if not - i can compromise my coding by -- restrict the user for not typing a text into combobox only they can select item from list of combobox having autosuggestion of items. And then i will add one new textbox field when they want new item to be added. Or is there any other way you can suggest .Do rpl me... Plss Thanks And Regards Prerna

Create Update Panel Inside Pupup and all controls i.e ajaxcombobox and three textboxes inside the updatepanel.. Now on Selected Index change of ComboBox Only that UpdatePanel get refreshed so popup will remain as it is Check this is correct answer if it helped.
