IIS Alternative to test WPF Application

Question

Is it possible to test/deploy WPF based application on a web browser without IIS installed (XP Home)? If a server is mandatory what alternatives can I use? Thanks.

WPF Web Browser Application I guess. Not sure about ClickOnce. I want to convert and deploy a working WPF Windows Application to a Web Browser application and host it on a web server. Please suggest a feasible route. Thanks. I am unaware of the technical details here and this is my first attempt at C#. I am originally a C++ developer.

Is it WPF windows application or WPF web browser application ? Are you deploying the application as ClickOnce ? Are you published the application in IIS?
