ILDASM and Security

Question

hello to all i have a problem with security in .NET i want know how can i protect my program from disassembling by ILDASM tool in vs.net ? i can easily disassemble a asembly and edit IL Code and recompile it by ILASM .. but this is a big problem .. i have read a article that was told we can use from owner option in ilasm tool but that option isn't current options and will not be ok .. please a Expert help me .. Hi  Since runtime executes based on IL it is easy to dissassemble any code. The only option to protect your code is to obfuscate it. There are many third party tools available for that. Try using dotfuscator - community version of this is available in visual studio.net tools you can also go for paid ones like xenocode which is more powerful. Well use strong name technology to enable versioning for your dll. It will not stop ppl from using ildasm tool. You can consider a few software obfuscation to make things harder for cracker or there is a software by remotesoft that converts your .net assembly to native code. Cheers.
