.indices shell command not showing index names in SQLite

When I use .indices shell command after creating indexit doesn't show index names. What can be the problem.

can you try this and check if your index exists... SELECT name FROM sqlite_master WHERE type='index' ORDER BY name; and look for your table in the output.
