Insert created date(now) and created by(username) in asp.net

Hi Please anybody help me to Insert created date(now) and created by(username) in asp.net5. whenever I create the new record in crud application the above records should be entered automatically in database. regards arun sahani

I suggest you to go for Trigger On each of the CRUD operations [Insert Delete Update]set the trigger to insert or update the required columns. This is easy and simple.

For the date you could set your script like this when creating your table: [RowModifiedDateTime] [datetime] DEFAULT GETDATE() [RowCreatedDateTime] [datetime] DEFAULT GETDATE() For the users you would need to get the user id who logs into your website and then use that to insert into your database.
