For inserting file into sql table you have to create the table column of varbinary(max) datatype. Then while inserting you have to read all the content of file into a byte array then you can insert this byte array into table you can try this Int32 intAudioSize = 0; Stream AudioStream = null; // Gets the Size of the File intAudioSize = FileUpload1.PostedFile.ContentLength; // Reads the Audio AudioStream = FileUpload1.PostedFile.InputStream; byte[] AudioContent = new byte[intAudioSize + 1];//while inserting you can //insert this byte array into sql table. int intStatus = 0; intStatus = AudioStream.Read(AudioContent 0 intAudioSize);
