insert query with 10 records at at a time

Question

i have two columns with name city country .i want to insert two columns with one query.country name should be same but city names different.how can i insert with one query please help me ..thank oyu

It is confusing because it so basic. Really not sure what you are expecting but giving technically correct answer. insert into table_name (country city) values ('India' 'Delhi'); If you wish to insert more records at a time use: insert into table_name (country city) values ('India' 'Delhi') ('India' 'Mumbai') ('India' 'Chennai') ('India' 'Kolkota') ('India' 'Jaipur') ('India' 'Ahmedabad') ('India' 'Bhopal') ('India' 'Nagpur') ('India' 'Surat') The above syntax has limitation of 1000 records. Its not big deal in sql you can use like this insert into tbl (namecitycountry) values ( 'Bikesh'  'Noida'  'India' )( 'Bikesh1'  'Noida1'  'india1' )........................() As per this query you insert n number of item in a single query.
