Insert + Update + Delete Record Through Web Service (C#)

Hi Guru, How am I insert and update master detail record into two or more tables through web services in C#. Thanks in advance.

Insert, Update, Delete through a Web service is same as in your application or a database helper class. First you need to learn how to do it without a Web service. Once you know, you move your database code to your webservice and make calls to the webservice from your application. For example, if you have a database class that has three methods - InsertEmployee, UpdateEmployee, and DeleteEmployee and are being used to insert, update, and delete employees, you will add similar public methods to your webservice and underlying code will be same as in your database class and you call these webservice methods from your application. If you do not know how to write these methods, look into ADO.NET section of this site or search this site for Add, Update data using ADO.NET and read some articles on that. If you already know how to do this using ADO.NET, move that database related to code to your webservice methods. Hope it helps.
