Insert value in textbox on drop down list selection in MVC

I want to insert the same value in the textbox as selected from the drop down list in MVC Entity Framework.

By usign jquery Inside dropdownlist change you have set var dropText = $( '#dropDownId :selected' ).text(); $( '#txtID' ).val(dropText );
