instant messenger outlook addin

i would like to program(C#) Outlook incoming messages and read it, just like an instant messenger.  Is it also possible to program user presence. How? please give an idea. What topic should i deal with first? Any useful articles. Thanks

Do some readings on regions and invalidating and clipping regions. You certainly don't want to load every thing on the form if you only need a small portion of the form to be rendered.
