Integrating music with C#

Question

Hi all Doing a project this year for my degree to create a music production desk in C# using MIDI Anybody have any ideas as to how I would go about integrating the two? Thanks for your time. Ziggy

Just download the DirectX SDK from the microsoft website and install it. The SDK contains much info about it's components (including DirectSound).

Hey man thanks for advice willing to try it out! I've never heard of direct sound before have you any more info on it? Cheers

You could take a look at direct sound. I don't know if it's capable of playing midi. But it's worth a shot. And it's not that difficult.
