IP camera on WPF application

Question

Hi all

I would like to connect a IP camera and show it on a WPF window (H264, ethernet camera).
How to code for this? I found some tutorials for USB webcams but nothing for more professional equipments.

Hi This is an old thread but the answer can be useful for others. I am working on a project to develop an ip camera viewer application in C# and we have found a camera sdk: ozeki camera sdk . With the help of the SDK it is very easy to connect to any rtsp or onvif camera. RTSP Camera connection ONVIF Camera connection If somebody has an rtsp camera the following code can be used to connect to the ip camera: using System; using System.Windows.Forms; using Ozeki.Media.MediaHandlers; using Ozeki.Media.MediaHandlers.IPCamera; using Ozeki.Media.MediaHandlers.Video; using Ozeki.Media.Video.Controls; using Ozeki.Media.IPCamera; namespace VideoCameraViewer02 { public partial class Form1 : Form { private IIPCamera _camera; private DrawingImageProvider _imageProvider = new DrawingImageProvider(); private MediaConnector _connector = new MediaConnector(); private VideoViewerWF _videoViewerWF1; public Form1() { InitializeComponent(); // Create video viewer UI control _videoViewerWF1 = new VideoViewerWF(); _videoViewerWF1.Name = videoViewerWF1; _videoViewerWF1.Size = panel1.Size; panel1.Controls.Add(_videoViewerWF1); // Bind the camera image to the UI control _videoViewerWF1.SetImageProvider(_imageProvider); } // Connect camera video channel to image provider and start private void connectBtn_Click(object sender EventArgs e) { _camera = IPCameraFactory.GetCamera(rtsp://192.168.115.198:554/12 admin admin); _connector.Connect(_camera.VideoChannel _imageProvider); _camera.Start(); _videoViewerWF1.Start(); } } } If you have an ONVIF camera you can use the same source code but you do not have to write the rtsp:// prefix in front of the ip address or domain name.
