Is it good to do an MBA after MCA?

Question

Hello sir/madam, I have completed my MCA and now have 1 year of experience in Android development. Current designation is Jr. Software engineer. We know that, after getting 4-5 years of experience or more, we are given designation of Team Leader. One of my collegue suggested me to do MBA so that managment skills also get developed and have more chance to be Team Leader without waiting for 4-5 years. Is it good to do MBA (external) or not?
