is mvc part of .net framework?

Question

i am little bit of confusing that the mvc is part of the .net framework or net. i have googled for this many articles i am getting different answers.please make me very clear on this doubt. Thanks in advance.

Ram MVC stands for model-view-controller which can be considered more as an architectural pattern. It is not a part of .NET framework . It was first implemented in Smalltalk. In later years other programming languages adopted this pattern due to its wide acceptance . Microsoft later developed ASP.NET MVC(built on top of mvc) which can be considered as a part of .NET framework . MVC is now being widely implemented in Angular js as well . No MVC is not part of .net framework but yes it part of visual studio 2012
