issue in editing datagrid winform control

Question

hi........i m facing a problem in editing the datagrid of windows. i just want to make windows datagrid act as datagrid web control in editing and deleting rows.... just like in web datagrid control we.when we click on edit it only enable that particular row for the editing..i want same in my window datagrid control..hows that possible???? i don't want to make editable whole datagrid...i want tu just particular selected row....... help in this regard.........................hows that possible.......waiting for response

yah here i make datagrid editable row by row................ i just make the datagrid readonly property false; then get all the gridcoloumnstyle objects in collection GridColumnStylesCollection colStyle = this.dataGrid1.TableStyles[0].GridColumnStyles; then make each colStyle[index].Readonly property true; whenever i have to make a row editable i just note the position of that row by DataGrid1.CurrentRowIndex then make each colStyle[index].Readonly property false; In the CurrentCellChanged Event of datagrid i just check if the current row is not the editable row then again make col styles readonly property true; and here in this event u can run a update querry if currrencell change instead of on button click................................ please read about DataGridTableStyle.......DataGridColumnStyle object if u want to do this..

Hi Have u Solve u problem, I'm also facing same problem, I also want to make my datagrid editable, I used cell_changed, but I don't know to how to get cell's new value & how to update, Iwant to do like automatially, not when user presses save button.... when current cell changed , it saved automatically....... If u know the answer , pls give me reply thanks a lot in advance regards. Meenu.
