Its showing error The transaction log for database is full

hi all i am getting Error The transaction log for database 'InsightPerformanceEngine' is full. To find out why space in the log cannot be reused see the log_reuse_wait_desc column in sys.databases  while loading bulk files data into sql tables so.. plz help

hi clear transaction log 1.//this is detaching db sp_detach_db dbname 2. rename the log file name or delete log file name exec xp_cmdshell 'del C:\[Program Files (x86)]\[Microsoft SQL Server]\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data\dbname.ldf' 3. this is attaching db CREATE DATABASE dbname ON (FILENAME = 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data\dbname.MDF') --(FILENAME =) FOR ATTACH;
