Hi Sukumar I am not 100% sure but may be same working of asp.net. like if you want validate of textbox same work as asp.net. for example function fun_validate() { if($('textboxid').val()!=null) { return true; } else { alert('enter a valid value'); return false; } } I hope it's work for you.
