Jquery after filling value in textbox

Question

I have a textbox in gridview and that textbox fill by another aspx page text box control value on button click.

after the filling value in textbox i want to get the value of textbox with the help of jquery function

i do not know which one function is used for it in jquery.

You can do like this $('input[id$=txtboxUname]')val();

Hi Hemant Actually when value filled in textbox it corresponding some control will be filled in gridview suppose if the first row of grid view textbox control hold the value 'abc' with the help when textbox fill by another aspx page text box control value on button click. and the same thing when second one textbox will be filled that check if value exists in the first one then second one textbox value will be empty and focus on first one.

You can do like this 1. $('#txtBox')val(); [or] 2 $(' ')val(); (If you have a master page then the rendered control id not the exact control id which we have assigned while designing the form.)
