Keyword behavior in C#

Hi friends I want to know that the keyword to change the data and behavior of a base class by replacing a member of a base class with a new derived member?

The 'new' keyword doesn't actually replace a base class member which has the same name - it just hides it. In the case of a virtual method or property you can use the 'override' keyword to provide a different implementation of it in the derived class. Unlike 'new' 'override' is polymorphic i.e. if a base class variable refers to a derived class object then the latter's implementation is called.
