Learning C#

Question

Hi I have no prior programming skills (Just a little VB6 knowledge) and would like to learn C# from scratch. Do you guys have any ideas of any good books (Ways) of learning C# from point zero? Thanks

C# and the .NET Platform by Troelsen. It's the best textbook I've ever read on any subject. If you have no experience with a class library (and VB6 counts as less than no experience in my opinion) then you will need to read and reread chapter 3 many times. And then there are the tutorials on the web. Try googling for C# 101 or C# tutorial MSDN has a bunch of walkthroughs that should help. You've got a long long road ahead. Good luck.
