Line crossing in rectangle

Hi friends

If each side of the rectangle is a line segment ,and the user drawn portion is a line segment, then how to check whether any line overlap or cross with another one.Please help me to find a solution.

hi Hope you have all four line equation if you have than you can use line intersection formula and find out whether the line is intersecting ? Please refer for formula http://www.geometryatlas.com/entries/41 in this formula if m-n is zero than line is not intersecting.. hope this will help you.
