Hi Vineet The System.Linq is a namespace that provides classes and interfaces that support queries that use Language-Integrated Query (LINQ). So when we write this statement the IDE understands and gives us access to the classes in this namespace so we can use as per our need.

Do you understand SQL? How SQL can be used to query a database? Similarly LINQ can be used to query objects and collections in memory. You need to learn what LINQ is.
